Courage to love

a miracle

Courage to make room

daring to walk in step

to listen and see

the heart of the matter

it mattered.

Courage to seek adventure

and create stories together

when all our stories were already told.

Courage to let go

of stifling expectations

of records of wrongs

and a self-seeking heart

letting in.

Courage to hope and trust

to be touched

stirred

loved.

Courage to fly again

wings of independence

finding vulnerability

fear cowers.
